In Their Feelings is back with a very special selection of soundscapes created through different perspectives, resonating together in the same part of the world: São Paulo. Escaping from brutal social inequality and a massive political crisis in the country, São Paulo is living in paradox. The city is experimenting a rise in musical creativity, revealing a growing number of producers and collectives encountering in art a way to live and a bridge to escape to the floating states that creation can bring.

Escape From São Paulo is a series that brings part of the vision of new electronic music produced in Brazil to be discovered by the world. In this first part of the series, we have 11 tracks compiled and mixed by Zopelar in a continuous mix following the original versions.

Casting the compilation, the hosts and old soldiers: Davis, Zopelar and Sphynx join forces with some new talents from different parts of Brazil who also have a deep relation with São Paulo: Vermelho, Érica, Mari Herzer and rHr.

Vermelho brings his classy dancing ballad "Toy Boxx" to the mix, where hot vintage drum sounds drive beautiful synth themes, really well arranged as always when talking about Vermelho. He is also part of Sphynx and here is the first appearance of his solo project on the label. For many years, Vermelho has been one of the most active local DJs and is part of the ODD party in São Paulo, responsible for memorable events in the city in the last few years. Another new one on the label is the young talented producer and live act Mari Herzer, with the stunning track "Narcosis" , which is one of the most emotional and deep tunes on the list. Mari is a rising talent from Santos and has been taking the best compliments with her powerful live set and beautiful productions. Mari is resident of the parties Mamba Negra and Sangra Muta, both really expressive for the underground scene in São Paulo.

Bringing two tracks in the mix, rHr. is on our radar since we started the label. We are proud to show you the amazing tune "Quebrada", that shows us part of his approach in audio engineering and tape manipulation, always mixed with very good taste in melodies and out-of-the-box synth sequences. His second appearance is on "Acid Republic", a raw jam together with Zopelar. Hot stuff for the compilation. He is regularly showing his work in the city as resident of Tantsa and other parties like Capslock.

Of course our veteran Davis is adding his elegant jams to the mix. M1 Riff is the second track of the compilation and bring exciting 808 beats with acid bass lines sequenced like the hip-hop lover we know that he is.

Érica is closing this compilation saying a lot of relevant words on "Along the Path" and giving a proper end to this whole journey. Her work stepped to another level this year with her amazing live show composed only with hardware and unique vocal lines. Her last album "Beautiful" was released earlier this year and the title track was played by Dixon on some podcasts and festivals around the globe.
